Serendipity, and Other Fine Things

Currently a "carnet de voyage." Wordy writing about my travels, adventures great and small, people I meet and love, with an emphasis on the minutia... always the minutia. It leans toward the humorous -- or should I say, my aim is to make it entertaining. Well, my mom finds it funny.

About Me

My photo
Ali
I'm silly, rambunctious, self-involved, somewhat arrogant (I like to hope it's endearing), and wear my heart on my sleeve. People, storytelling, sunshine, and funny stuff are my top sources of glee. *** A large percentage of my time is spent daydreaming and I've had a narrator for as long as I can remember (which is around 2-&-a-bit years old). Until recently, I assumed everyone had one. Apparently, it's considered an indicator of possible mental health issues. I would have hoped the narrator would have worked that in sooner, but clearly it was news to both of us. *** I stopped focusing on dance about a year ago and have since discovered the joys of theatre, improv, beer, and idleness. The consequent improvement in my quality of life is impressive, to say the least. And now it's time for adventuring. I've packed up my bag and hit the road. These are my stories.
